COVID-19 UPDATES & INFORMATION
MARCH 17, 2020
Dear Big Bend Habitat for Humanity Family,
With each day that passes, our understanding and appreciation of the seriousness of this global health pandemic increases. Beyond the sober and significant health risks of the novel coronavirus, we are all painfully aware that the long-term economic consequences of COVID-19 will test us all.
To safeguard our volunteers, donors, current and future homeowners and staff members, we are implementing the following measures during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
BBHFH Office will be closed and all staff will be working remotely from their homes. Limited services will be available. If you have questions or concerns during this period, please call the office at 850-574-2288 and leave a message. We will return your call within 24 hours.
All BBHFH Volunteer Construction activities and Our ReStore will be suspended through April 1st.
We are continually monitoring the situation, and our approach may change as new guidance is provided.
Please stay informed on the latest information by visiting the following websites:

“May those of us who are merely inconvenienced remember those whose lives are at stake. May we who have no risk factors remember the most vulnerable. May we who settle in for quarantine at HOME remember those who have no HOME. As fear grips our country, let us choose LOVE.”
Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we navigate this public health crisis together. We pray that you and your families will be safe.
