At Big Bend Habitat for Humanity, we proudly offer Women Build opportunities, inviting women and anyone interested in learning how to build or repair homes to take part in this empowering initiative.

Why Women Build?
Women and children are disproportionately affected by poor living conditions. Women Build provides a way for women to take a proactive step in changing this reality by directly impacting their communities through hands-on construction and repair efforts. It’s an opportunity to not only build homes but also hope for those in need of safe, affordable housing.
Who Can Join?
Women Build is open to all women, as well as anyone who wants to learn new skills, help others, and contribute to the mission of affordable housing. Whether you’re a seasoned DIY enthusiast or have never picked up a hammer, you are welcome to join. Our collaborative and supportive environment ensures that everyone feels confident and capable, regardless of their experience level.
